Dead Rocks Only
Rounded edges, loose parts, deep crevices… make a home.
Any bush rock has likely sat in the same place for a long, long time.
Long enough to be a lifeline to its ecosystem…long enough to be alive.
Quarries are often vilified, and for a good reason, they are the product of pure destruction.
Seeing an enormous scar in the landscape, devoid of life, is uncomfortable for any nature lover.
But there is a silver lining to this destruction.
Instead of taking bush rock for landscape projects and removing life with it, quarried stone offers a beautiful opportunity to birth new bush (surface) rock, to introduce a new substrate for life wherever you want.
If you need a rock, source responsibly <3
